I listen to this song 1 time a day Lately i have had a few friends Commit suicide and many others die from Addiction! Love this Band and i don't think i have ever heard a song that hits me like this one does! Edited: because i do not talk about this but when i was 18 yrs old the love of my life my soul mate was taken from me in a car accident she died instantly .. we never fought but on this 1 day we did and she left with 3 friends and 10 miles later there car flipped on I-87 in NY and that day i never thought i would ever be able to care about anyone or anything again.. I'm married now with Twin 6 yr old boys and a 13 yr old daughter and 15 yr old son and i still think about Megan every single day this song and Pearl Jam - last Kiss make me cry every time i hear it! Even when you move on you never fully heal I just wanna say to everyone i always tell my wife and kids now no matter what i love them when they leave the house it takes a few seconds and somthing i wish i said to Megan before she left but pride and anger blocked my last chance to say I love you to my soul mate!

Saw Sevendust in concert for the first time on August 9th, they played this song and I remember lajon saying this song was for anyone who has ever lost a loved one...I knew he was speaking to me. My mother was in hospice at the time and exactly a month later she passed. I’m crushed...and my life has been forever changed. I know she’s in heaven, there is no doubt of that, everyone that ever met her loved her...this song touches me so much.

This song was played at my cousin's funeral last year. He was a great cousin and a big brother. We always played video games when we were kids, he always whooped my ass as Kirby in Smash Brothers 64 but when our father's feuded we drifted apart. He stole money from our grandma and fell into a heroin addiction that consumed his life. He OD'd last year on heroin spliced with fentanyl. I wish I had met him again and talk him out of doing drugs but I was too late. :(
