I meant what you are saying. I was in a rush when I posted it, so I didn't make sure it read the way I meant. I used to work with someone who, I feel, did "need" religion with where she was in her life. In my mind, she didn't actually need it, but she felt she did, and believed it helped her get through a hard time. If that's what worked for her, that's great. I feel that with the right support, she could have worked through it herself. Subconsciously she did. She just thought it was religion.
