Sergio Mendes - Watch What Happens Lyrics

Let someone start believing in you
Let him hold out his hand
Let him touch you and watch what happens
When someone who can look in your eyes
And see into your heart
Let him find you and watch what happens

Cold
No, I won't believe your heart is cold
Maybe just afraid
To be broken again
Let someone with a deep love to give
Give that deep love to you
And what magic you'll see
Let someone give his heart
Someone who cares like me
Let someone give his heart

Cold
No, I won't believe your heart is cold
Maybe just afraid
To be broken again
Let someone with a deep love to give
Give that deep love to you
And what magic you'll see
Let someone give his heart
Someone who cares like me
Let someone give his heart
Someone who cares like me
Someone who cares like me
Someone who cares like me...

¿Cómo puedo conseguir los subtitulos en español de toda la serie de canciones de Sergio Méndes? Se los agradeceré mucho.

Beautiful song as no matter how many times we have had our hearts broken, there is always the possibility of finding the right person who shall make us happy if we give it a chance and run the risks instead of fretting and letting opportunities slip by.

"Observa qué es lo que pasa" bonita canción, que nos invita a abrir los ojos ante las oportunidades que muchas veces dejamos pasar. A veces hay que correr riesgos pero si no arriesgamos no obtendremos nada. Dice "no te daré mi corazón para que me lo rompas otra vez"pero hay alguien con un gran amor para dar, alguien que quiera como Yo."

Love this song! I think Lani Hall takes the first solo, and Janis Hansen (the ever so slightly duskier voice) the second one. Thoughts, anyone?

    R.... S....

I think you are correct...If you really listen their voices are very different ..but fit like a glove

I "Sergio Mendezed" my way through the 60's & a good part of the 70's. Drove my children nuts and my husband out of the house. (I'm not sure, but I thought I heard him humming "Like a Lover" as he was leaving) I lost my mind (and my husband) over Sergio Mendes. I am like the proverbial alcoholic. . . I am a recovering Sergio Mendes addict. If I hear his music, I desert, if only mentally, whatever situation I am in at the time, and become totally enslaved by his music. I went from him to realize the beauty of Jobim and Joao Gilberto, the entire Brazilian music scene. It is the sound track of my life and I wouldn't change a note. Let Sergio Mendes into your life and, indeed, Watch What Happens.

    N.... V....

I think maybe you made the right choice.

This version is very different from the original version(heard in "les demoiselles de Rochefort", a French film whose music was written by famous Michel Legrand)
Yes , vocal harmonies by Lani Hall and Janis Hansen are superb.
But listen carefully to the thrilling Brazilian rhythm and specially to the wonderful and outstanding work of the late Joao Palma on drums: a sheer joy!

This song really defines the differences in Lani and Janis.I love Lani but Janis too.

IThis song is actually from the earlier - 1964 - film (and a brilliant one at that): "Les Parapluies de Cherbourg" (The Umbrellas of Cherbourg).

This reminds me of parties that my parents had. They hated each other by the time I could notice, but they danced so well together at parties to music like this. The only happy memories of them together that I have.

    Thanks for posting this!

    p.... ....

Thanks for sharing that. I hope that things are going better for you than they did for your parents.

    p.... ....

prixator Sounds kind of sad...but isn't it great that a recording can evoke a positive image of those two who came together with the hope of a good life together.
