My first taste of brazilian song and bossa nova was with Sergio Mendes.
Bewildered by "O Pato" at a young age and grew up in a once colonized Spanish country such as the Philippines that I should have known what it literally means "O Duck". Silly of me not to pick up the title song for I was so young just plainly enjoying listening to a foreign song. I thought it was a nursery rhyme. A Jaime Silva's composition and popularized by Joao Gilberto. Thanks for the song.
