@Funnysterste I find it abut weird that max left sepultura in 90s when YouTube didn't exist... So why on a unlimited database of videos and information do people bother leaving comments on a subjects that over 10 years old.

The truth of the matter is that people like members over music and cant get past the old line up... Just be honest... Old and new line up are both good.. None better than the other.. Just slightly different approach..

Never listened new Sepultura and I finally came to check it out. Not a Max fan but I have to say that this shit really sucks. Tons of better music out there, old Death/Thrash Sepultura definitely beats the shit outta this gayness.... *moves to a better metal song* ... Damn n00bs.

Wow! this song shifts gears at around 3:20 with the double bass and razor sharp riffs leading to the scalding second section of the song. Absolutely killer!

i agree. the only one album with max i liked was Roots thanks to Ross Robinson production. When Derrick came in the band was something different something new and better.

This song is......This albulm is amazing.

Hate to break it to the fanboys out there, but Sepultura has consistently put out stronger, more creative music than Soulfly, CC, or any other Cavalera project since Max left Sep. Derrick has now been in just as long as Max was, and after the release of this next album, will have been on as many albums as Max was. Yes, Max started the band. But Andre, Derrick and Paulo have made it their own now. Get over it.

SEPULTURA is GREAT, since Bestial Devastation through Chaos A.D. and Nation to A-Lex, and probably to the grave (Sepultura = Portuguese for grave). max and derrick have their advantages and disadvantages as singers, max is a very successful singer, but derrick is cool too.

this is a great song! i think the 2 last albums of the band represend what sepultura is all about.and this is the negative with soulfly..they may be powerfull but they have NO atmosphere in their music..and that was one of the ingredients of old sepultura..but dante and a lex HAVE this atmosphere...dont get me wrong i love soulfly but for me todays sepultura are exactly what they should sound like!..their music is far beyond,experimental but still metal to the bone.and CC was not good at all!

I was just trying to make a point Im a big fan, with the band being from brazil and all..
And that this band isnt sepultura anymore. Just a band with the same name and a couple of ex sepultura members in it, as I see it.

I am in no way comparing myself to sepultura. Like i said im no professional, only been playing for a few years, no recording equipment, and no drums even, that was a drum machine i used. But this album is nowhere near amazing.
Sepultura is one of my favorie bands, Im brazilian, and I saw them live in 06. and compared to old sepultura and to Cavalera cosnpiracy, this is shitty, slow, boring, and andreas hasnt written a good solo in I dont know how long.

Well, you got my hopes up that maybe your songs would be better and more "original" than this. I was let down.

The 1st song sounded like if Immortal were to make a cruddy demo. It sounds just like something would write. Even the vocals are like theirs.

The 2nd song was actually pretty decent. The riffs were good, but there were no drums. Again, the Immortal vocal style is in this song also.

In no way should you compare yourself to Sepultura. This album is amazing. Your songs are not.

PLEASE people, go to "metallygod" channel and listen to the riffs and solos that he says are better than Sepultura's. You will laugh to death my friends. But I admit I have become addicted to his "songs" as I keep showing them to my friends and we can't stop laughin. You'remy hero metallygod. LOL

Im not the biggest fan of dragonforce, but i did see them live in 06, they can play their stuff live just as well, yes all their songs are similar, i cant even tell the difference on some.

To me, all of Dragonforce's songs sound very similar to each other and the majority of the time, they can't play their own material live. Sam Totman and Herman Li are what I like to call studio soloers. They're only good if they have more than one try.
I'm not saying that they're horrible at guitar. Compared to me, they're amazing, haha.

Maybe its just me but I just dont get this album. Where is the thrash music? Seems they spent way too much time on the intro's and not the music itself.
