I mean we could go so far as to say "different band, same name" if you all wish... but get over it, listen to the music and stop blabbing on about the past...

I've been a Sepultura Fan since 1997, so i missed the boat as Far as Max Fronting the band goes, but i did keep liking them and keeping up with The Derrick albums and even saw them in '03 finally and got one of Andreas' Picks that he actually used... in fact he threw a few to make sure i got one (being about 25 ft from stage) i was able to get his attention every time he looked in my direction... Sepultura started in 1984 and keeps going today (a lot changes in almost 30 years)

I agree with slauertura77 , great music.. but Max has casted his shadow for the band to see forever!!, and that's all you hear nowadays is a possible reunion, or anything that has to do with Max! Seems that Andreas is in control, and you don't see Derek in control of anything.. I think that the band is still in full force, but you can't pick up and start again. I mean we can probably live without Lars in Metallica, but can you actually see Metallica without James?

Love metal music, sepultura should have changed it's name after Max left. They really should have changed the name after igor left. I mean it would be like if Mick left the stones and 5 years latter Keith left the stones and the stones kept playing and recording music as the stones. It would even be close to the same. What is the Beatles would have kept playing with Ringo and George? It would not have worked.

@ferna5678 totally agree, i like to call this band "Sepultura II" instead of Sepultura (cavalera bros.) they're both awesome bands but not really comparable since they're really different. This album is awesome, Sepultura and Sepultura II both kick ass (even though i prefer Sepultura)

wtf that is NOT an arise sounding solo. If this is one of the best songs in the album then this is their worst album yet. That solo was simple hammer ons and pulls offs with some wah effects and a lot of whamy bar wanking, very easy to come up with, no feeling and no creativity. The drums lack life and attitude that Igor delivers. This is not sepultura and hasnt been since 1996.
