Never, EVER ask that question. You'll find religious nuts everywhere who will enthusiastically say "Why yes, yes it is!" It's music, plain and simple..If you're looking for a specific genre then you're sad and I pity you and your life. Music isn't about genres, it's an expression of one's self and more often than not the struggles and/or tragedies in life.

Actually that last part's based almost entirely on preference/opinion Levi. It depends heavily on what you like and don't like. I love "Listen" but I can't stand "Rebuild, Release". I won't deny they worked hard on this, music is a far more demanding process than almost everybody realizes. But you really should keep in mind that the latter portion of your statement is opinion only, not fact.

This song is awesome, I enjoyed listening to this song for sure!

It's amazing how much I relate to the bridge and chorus of this song.

I wind myself up complaining and struggling to find a direction in life. Not knowing how to find people or a place i'd be happy with. But like this song implies... I try to control that too much, I don't go with the flow... I struggle and in that sense it has made me blind. I need to give into life and let it guide me without fighting back to what doesn't sound nice to me. My mind has gone against me. I must 'Start to listen'

You should check out August Burns Red in Empire. They're bass player is pretty good and he has a really sweet slide in the bridge

This. I play bass as well so I always pay special attention to it in songs.

Personally I'm a bass player and I always notice songs that have rocking bass lines. This is one of them
