Something about this song reminds me of a playground bully, and i dig it

Chorus has a cool energetic ring to it but there are some much better songs on Renacer.
This isn't directed at some specific religion, it's about people who blindly accept the religion they were raised with without considering other religions.

yeahh so true like nobody should need to accept any lifestyles if they dont truly want to, marry someone they dont love or follow a religion if its not what they believe in. There are other religions people are born and raised into and follow them just because of that, but Islam is the biggest example.

I think this song is more about how people use their religions to justify their actions. Like muslim extremists and judgemental Christians, stuff like that. There is way too much hypocrisy in religions for me. There is no way any of the big religions have it completely right

Can't really tell what the line is without the lyrics...but when crosses are mentioned and then God...I feel like he's talking about Christianity. But regardless like I said, it offends me. You're turning the song into something it's not. The word "god" is also sometimes used out of the context of a powerful diety. Sometimes a god can be something you worship, or an idol. Using the other definitions you can clearly see that this song is not bashing religions at all. I'd have to look at the full lyrics to see what the song is actually trying to say though.

The start of the album blew me away but this song completely ruins it. Okay I get your not a Christian or religious but making the chorus "I believe, I believe your God is dead" and speaking about the cross at the beginning. I've been a fan for a long time and I KNEW Buddy wasn't religious...but this song offends me in the worst way and I can't support this band in buying the album.
