@MoogSource Vermona there s a ton of different influences in there, and those whiny parts sure sound like the vocalist had DDG in rotation back in the day. Maybe maybe not but these dudes sound like a lot of different old school bands, that's part of their appeal. Nobody's really wrong here lol

DDG were far from the first band to do that sort of thing though. Only reason why SYSC might seem like theyre similar is because they both take ideas from the same kind of bands but these guys obviously stick it closer to the early 2000s than any of the bands that came out around 2006-2011 did.

I think anyone who enjoys them, regardless of what they remind us of, is just glad it's not more of the 2010 Risecore shit they've been beating into the ground for the last decade lol. Early and mid 2000s Post-Hardcore kids have way more in common with each other than we have with what's been happening lately, I'm just stoked to see modern OG representation at all
