I saw my dad kill himself, tired of people walking over me in life. I walked through his blood and I seen my mom cleaning up the blood with a sponge. After my mom locked herself in the room for three days while my siblings and I didn’t eat. Uncle showed up and bought me some red converse and new socks. I was only 4. So tired of people not knowing. Or assume that since I was 4 I’m not living a life of agony that every time I fucking fail I think it’s my fault he died. Tired of him not being here. My “mans guide to life” came with empty pages

I was with my girlfriend the other day, and it was a weird day. All we did was sit and watch tv. It was a typical day but it didn’t feel typical. We was in the living room and I sat in the recliner. 5 minutes later a red cardinal flew straight into the window beside me, and I knew something was wrong but I couldn’t quite understand. About 30 minutes later I get a call from my dad and he told me that my uncle had taken his own life. He was 39 years old.. and then I realized what was so weird about that day.. he was a good man. He would have done anything for anyone, even if he didn’t know you. I’ve asked myself why and why.. My girlfriend has helped me a lot.. and I’ve been there with my dad for as long as I could, and we know now that he is in a better place. Rest peacefully uncle Brian, you will be missed. And you are loved by many..

Found this song on the anniversary of my son's suicide. I put it up on my Facebook and shared it with his 7 brothers and sisters. I understand this song too well. The news of a family member's suicide kills you almost exactly like they died. You beg to know answers to questions where answers don't exist. You live their death a million times. You may Even beg a higher power to take you. Everyone in the family feels it. Then....slowly...you get back up and realize we are all one bad day from snapping. You have to "mend yourself before it gets you."

I want to meet him. I want so bad to Just hug him and say "Thank You for getting it and putting it perfectly into words and video.

I am a huge seether fan now.

This is one of my favorite songs from seether because it really connects with me because I've felt this low to where I thought it be better to just end me. But hearing this I know there are people out there who love me & there's a better way. After all, healthcare is a business, I doubt they really want to help you. Besides that, I am lucky enough to be in a position where I can wait until everyone else is gone and then go out.

I was driving home today, and something unusual prompted me to turn on my radio. It would only make sense that this came came on to let me know that there's a glimmer of hope coming my way; this song has gotten me through probably every funk I've ever had, starting at the age of about 17. <3 I will always love Seether.
P.S. I wrote my own suicide note on September 13th, 2019 this year. I didn't go through with it. Life does go on for a reason - and speak out to your loved ones if you're struggling. Love you!
