When this album came out, I kind of felt like this song perfectly depicts the death of a loved one. Boy has this year been filled with it. Cat died... 3 months later my friend dies... 2 months later my grandfather dies... 2 months later my best friend dies... and 10 days after that my uncle died. This song hits me harder than that one good scene from the last jedi where the pink hair chick jumps into the snoak ship thing. Idk. That's the only part that I remember. I digress, I'm high as fuck right now and tangents are fun.

Seether has been one of my favorite bands for about 7yrs already. Their music has been a huge part of my life, and as I've grown the songs have slowly taken different meanings to me and I've gravitated to different songs of theirs as well. My mother passed away a month ago. Crazy how this song feel so personal now.

Every once in awhile a song comes along that changes you, that makes you want to be a better man and cherish every moment of this life. This is one of those songs.

I dedicate this song to my dad who is fighting leukemia, I live in San Diego and he and my mom live in Wichita Kansas. It's so hard being away from them especially with my dad being sick. Dad pass slowly, please wait till I get there. Its January 2019 and I'm going in April please hold on till I get there.

I'm glad I don't listen to this song often, because it hits me hard every time I listen to it. My grandparents' dog Lucas just passed away, which doesn't make things better, but it gives me one more reason to cherish the beauty and power that this song brings.

I probably already commented. This is one of my favorite songs.....EVER!!! I like to dance with my arms out, like I'm dancing with my G'pa or Dad. Before watching: I love Seether, and I love Holding onto Strings Better Left to Fray. That being said, WHY THE FUCK IS THIS ONE OF THE SONGS THAT WAS GIVEN A MUSIC VIDEO?! This is by far the worst song on a great album, and one of Seether's worst in my very humble opinion. Fade Out, Fur Cue, Forsake and Down are just a few songs that deserve a music video dedicated to them. Why Pass Slowly?!
After watching: The video legit made the song better. That's why. What a beautiful experience.

this song makes me think of my dad becuz my mom and dad and davorsed when I was 5 and I'm only 12. I only see him Sundays each month for 5 hours. He's very emotional which is what I love about him. Its always hard to say bye to him.

I feel so bad for the guy that lost his brother. nobody should have to experience that. I know losing mine would be devastating. I also recently had a son and the thought of him getting hurt or me losing him is enough to deeply upset me. this song is extremely beautiful and touching.

Every time I watch this video it makes me think about my own kids and how my job is pulling me away from the things I love. It is also a great reminder of how much our boys need a good father figure in their lives! As a dad of three boys I can definitely relate to this video!
