Seekers, The - Can't Make Up My Mind Lyrics

Can't make up my mind where you might hide away from me;
Everywhere I've searched, and still I can't make up my mind.
Maybe I'll stay here, maybe I'll go;
I don't know what to do.
It isn't easy searching around;
I can't believe it's true.
Oh, no, now.
When I awoke I opened my eyes,
And when I turned around,
I found your note pushed under my door;
You'd gone without a sound.

Can't make up my mind where you might hide away from me;
Everywhere I've searched, and still I can't make up my mind.

Can't make up my mind.
So you had gone, no word of farewell;
I didn't realize.
I may have hurt you, I couldn't tell;
It wasn't in your eyes.

Can't make up my mind where you might hide away from me;
Everywhere I've searched, and still I can't make up my mind.

Can't make up my mind.
Can't make up my mind.

    Hauntingly beautiful!

  2. S.... B....

    Perfect harmonies from the world foremost folk/pop group. No one comes even near to their professionalism.

    Well, like many others here, I am absolutely smitten with this stunning little gem with gorgeous crystalline harmonies spiraling up and around the lyric and melody. This little beauty should have made some real traction, but I doubt it was even released as a single. I'll bet Keith had fun structuring this arrangement while conducting a master class in harmony on this Judith Durham/David Reilly composition. jtk

    Play this often. It gets better each time. Listen to the beautiful harmonies, nothing like other Seekers material

    Keep coming back to this song. It's just an astonishing sound. Three men and a girl, what more do you need? Clear and concise diction into the bargain

    Love this song! It is so 1967! The Boys' voices harmonizing with Judith's clear, beautiful voice is just enchanting . Wish the song went on for 5 or 6 minutes! Agree with an earlier comment: it does sound fantastic through headphones! Love the Seekers! Tim in Midland, Texas

    One of two tracks on the Seen In Green album co-written by Judith Durham and David Reilly. The other was Colours Of My Life.

    Sooo beautiful... This could almost be a Mamas & Papas song! Still, Judith is unique, likewise the harmony between her and the boys.

  25. r.... ....

    If it was '66, Judith would be in her 20's - she is at least 5 years older than I am and I would have been 16.

  26. P.... ....

    The picture Darren uses in the video here is taken in 1966.They were in Bristol to make a "video"at the Cabot tower there.Judith looks like a young schoolgirl.....
