Judith really does this song justice. However, the Springfields rendition just beats it for me.

Best arrangement of a fantastic spiritual song.Judith Durham-the best voice ever.Love the acoustic guitars, bass of the men.

Interestingly was written by Irving Gordon who is most famous for writing "Unforgettable" - he hated rock music but this song and "Two Brothers" were picked up by the folk community... and he received a Grammy when Natalie Cole had her voice mixed in with her father's.

one of my very very favourite seekers songs

Always been one of my favorite tunes by one of my favorite bands. Even as a very small child back in the day, I knew there was something different about these guys. Awesome harmonies right in your face, those terrific folk guitars, Athol's bottom end being used two-fold because of the lack of drums, Judith's perfect pitch... something different for sure.

why do I get goose bumps down my spine when ever I hear Judith singing ,she is simply the best ever I am now 70 and have been a seekers fan all my life .

Not one of their big hits, but still it's quintessential Seekers' sound. Has lots more "depth" than most other versions of this song I heard.

Along with Come the Day one of my favourite Seekers tracks, in fact I really love just about everything the Seekers did.

thanks - I didn't realize they were performing together so recently; they've given me a new appreciation for folk and traditional music.
