I've always loved this song and video, but the camera angles have always bothered me. They just seem too low and really narrow. Almost like Richard is crouching forward just to get in the shot.

Today Secrets is good, but in The Ascent, Secrets was the best band

Agreed...i hate when people are like they are generic..when the ascent debuted OF MICES and ASKING a had set the stage about 18 months prior...this sound was the ideal for metalcore and post hardcore.

@yazid sakran I loved Xander and I was so sad that he left. They aren't the same, but they're still just as good as they were before he left.

@jenniferbrat I still prefer xander. his songs carried out how much problems he had and etc. his scream were sharper and edgier. I don't really listen to SECRETS anymore except The Ascent. their new stuff. I don't listen to at all really.

@jenniferbrat songs like The Ascent, The Hardest Part, etc. put you in that mood. The Oath, Somewhere In Hiding, Blindside, 40 Below really gave you the "FUCK SHIT UP" mood. I don't even have a favorite. I like all of them equally greatly.

@yazid sakran In terms of favorites, I can't really choose between Blindside or Melodies. Their first album is their best for me, but off of Fragile Figures, I'd say Live Together, Die Alone, Fragile Figures, and Sleep Well, Darling are all awesome. [; As for the deluxe, definitely Dance of the Dead.

lol, obviously you don't listen to much metal because this is definitely not metal. Post-Hardcore is used to describe this style. It's known for heavy guitars, hopefully really good clean vocals, and a variation of rough vocals (screams), and the goal is normally a tactful juxtaposition of both the harder and softer music. Definitely not metal.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I've been trying to get away from the post-hardcore since so much of it sounds the same, but I was walking by these guys at Warped when they were playing, i was impressed. They put their all into their performance and it really showed and made for a great show.

I've been listening to this genre for a long time now. The scene is saturated and getting stale, but I gotta admit...Secrets goes hard. Richard is the best clean vocalist in the game. Dude deserves much more recognition. Cant wait for the new album
