@Louise X it's a keyboard with an arpeggio set. Specific sound can be manipulated with attack and sustain rates to give additional fill in and background. To thicken the songs keyboard arrangements so it won't be so empty. Without (your wave) you explained about, the song would be empty without it.

@Choganfire Thanks for explaining this; the heavy sustain of the piano in the latter part of the song is quite noticeable. I love how the groove builds and moves throughout the track, and how Seal's vocals respond to those changes.
