Screaming Females were playing and I just stood there with my face completely melted for 30 minutes. I asked the person next to me who they were and went straight to the merch tent to get a t-shirt. Another really amazing band who have been around for years that I have only just discovered in 2019. Better late than never I guess. Very, very impressed by them. Gonna be binging on their albums over the coming weeks & months. My last greatest musical discovery was Skating Polly about 18 months ago who I fell in love with big time.

Screaming Females are now another amazing band I look forward to acquainting myself with over the coming months.

I first went looking for Screaming Females videos when I read they were the openeer for a Breeders concert. I was psyched when it went to the concert, and Marissa and band stole the show.

Dude I’ve been following you guys since I saw you open for the Arctic Monkeys when I was in high school and it blows my mind that you aren’t fucking wicked famous.

I checked this out because it was suggested on the Unpopular Opinion Podcast. I was not disappointed. This band is great. I'm following them on Spotify now.

I think they come from that Albini/Chicago scene to where a lot of bands take success with a grain of salt. You don't need a bunch of money and recognition. You gotta live, granted but you have to be cautious of the hassles success in the music brings.

They're from New Jersey, but I get what you mean.

Aside from the fact that all members of this band are incredible, Marrisa treats the guitar like a red headed stepchild. Beats the piss out of it and puts it to bed with no dinner! Listen to any of their songs. Doom 84, Triumph, Rose Mountain... But my favorite Ghost Solo.
