It’s a nice song but the truth about history is so dark and bloody that nice song turn sour. The Aztecs and the rest or those groups didn’t have missionaries or a golden rule. Atleast Cortez brought something that became what we have today.

When Neil Young plays this in concert is way angrier than the album version.
Best version Grace Potters is ok as well but this one clearly catches the original angry intent of the lyrics.
taking into account what this is covering it could have been but certainly isn’t a bit of a disaster I love Marissa’s vocals and her guitar playing is brilliant and different.. great cover (of course not better just different and equally enjoyable)
