Are you sure that this version is significantly better than normal CD ? I read some tech reviews saying that this Blu -spec CD enhancement is a fraud nothing better than a normal CD!! you found this version significantly better than a normal CD ? I never heard any of these Blu-specs CD's and can't opine about this ...

(8 months later I answer): dirk lancer sounds like a plant trying to sell something, but I can say from my own experience this: I have the Tokyo Tapes and Fly to the Rainbow albums in the "regular" CD versions and in the Blu Spec versions and the Blu-Spec versions are markedly clearer and definitely have much better bass. The bass lines really jump out at you on Fly to the Rainbow, especially. I think the Blu versions are better, personally.

Same here James Bailey. I agree. I have all the catalog and I feel, as well, that the bass pops more. The Ozzy first two LPs sound like you're in the studio - much better than analog vinyl (?!). The SHM and Platinum SHM are amazing quality as is Hi Res and SACD. I work for Sony and do the graphic design repackaging for the Japanese market. Many mini lp cds.
