For me it's very strange people talking about this band, like I didn't knew them, and I am like, Jesus i am 26 years done a few days, I am still very young, and I know these guys for about 10 years now, along with my favorite bands, machine head slipknot, trivium, fear factory etc etc etc and I always heard these guys like something very very fucking special. So comments like that make me feel old😂😂😂But keep rocking and enjoying good music and good art😉And I am portuguese and I know them for this long. For those who don't know check solution 45😉

All of Scar Symmetry is badass, however inclined i am to agree you. They still own, but Christian Alvestam's voice on the tracks is what has, and always will, bring me back.

Lol, the story of the album is that we've created our own illusionary "Holographic" Universe, and it is all a lie. We must now search for the real answers or we will be consumed by this falseness. This is however impossible since "Each seperated droplet seeks to rejoin the sea", meaning we can't escape this madness.
Now we are just "Waiting for the dawn to come when we control the sun". Not a regular sun though, it's "An invented sun" with "Rays reflecting the cosmic glow".

Personally i like the growls of the new singer because they are more clear but Christian did set the bar pretty high so you gotta give the new guy credit.

@afareni I totally agree with you. SS with Christian were awesome, now they are really good. There is a thin line between those two characterizations, probably it's not only the singers but the general way that the band has changed up to a point (minor change, but still figured out).

Personally, Christian is one of my vocal heroes. Scar Symmetry IS different without him, but with or without him, SS's music is fucking rad, and only an idiot blinded by fangirl/fanboyism or a non-metal fucking faggot would say otherwise.

No really, this happends to every band that changes singer... I have yet to see a band where people wouldn't go "Old singer much better, kkthxbai new singer, you ruined it all" whenever a band changed the singer. I realize that the voice is often, if not always, the unique sound of the band, but it's just progress, and people need to realize it isn't gonna change... Christian is good, but the new singers are on par with him if you ask me...
