It makes me so terrified that one day things might start to go wrong between them . To my mom and dad I love you both and I hope things always remain the way it is and if ever things start taking turns between you two , I hope you can find your way back to each other.

I miss my parents a lot

I was raised in a normal family in the public eyes. But in reality, even though my parents aren't divorced, I was suffering. I wished they had a divorce.

Up till now, I've never had a relationship. I'm in my 20s. This family situation just traumatized me so much. I didn't tell anybody about it because I don't think they would understand. My friends even think that I have really high standards of guys. I just laugh if off everytime they joke about it. Nobody knows about the scar I'm having.

I know my parents didn't want us to suffer for being divorced kids, but to me that is much better than growing up listening to them arguing almost everyday. Watching them fight and feel helpless because you can't do anything to make them stop.

It fels good that I finally let this out.

I used to listen to this song whenever my parents were fighting. We can't fully blame them though. I remember crying in my closet waiting for the shouting to stop. Some of us have to know that it's hard for parents. Especially untrusted ones. The only thing I wanted was a happy family. I watched my parents fight all the time as a young teen, it was horrible and it was physical and emotional like walking on egg shells, my heart goes to all those babies/kids/teens out there growing up in an unhappy and unloving home! As a young adult now i have depression and anxiety and i think watching my parents fight so much to the point where i saw onw of my parents nearly kill the other has affected my adulthood so much and my sisters are the same we all suffer depression, mums & dads please so the right thing and love eachother and your children or leave ur relationship because the kids are scared constantly of when the next fight will happen and it hurts :( I'm a mum of 2 beautiful children and swear never to let them grow up like I did, nothing but love and encouragment for them xo
