I have every casette of Sammy's, trying to get them in CD's and the ones when he was with Van Halen (I think I have all of theirs too). But he made Van Halen, sorry Dave. I've had the privilege of seeing him in concert every time he comes close to South Carolina. He makes you feel like you're actually partying with him. He still rocks and will continue to do so, his music will always be played because he's just that great. He's been my favorite since the first time I heard him. I listen to him all the time, and every time, puts me in a great mood. I even named my Rhodesian ridgeback after him, his hair was the same color Sammy's. And I know this sounds a little morbid, but when my time comes, I'm having two of his songs played, I'm just that big of fan of his and I want to go out rocking. Yes, he's still got it! Sammy rocks!

I remember seeing him live months after graduation. VOA tour, Ector County Coliseum, Krokus open for him. They were ok. But everyons cheered when Sammy came out. It was so hot on the floor. Ppl who had t-shirts whipped them around in the air so those nearby could get a breeze.
Sammy yelled, "Somebody turn on the ----king air conditioner!!! ". And everyone screamed. Girls I never knew were pressing in and grinding me to the music. One girl asked if u would help her get on stage if she got the chance, and I said sure. We were about three rows back. She never got the chance. My ears ringed for a whole day.
