This song just described my current situation to a T! I’m in shock.
And I can only pray my kids come out -in the end- with their scars healed because of our ability as parents to do our best for their sake. I hope my husband can do what the father in this song does by focusing on his children more so than his own pain/needs. And I hope my kids can look at me and truly say they’re proud of how I’ve managed to finally be strong enough to stop giving “second” chances.

Its about parents letting go theirselves from each other cause relationship did not work and they thought kids supported them fully but still their kids get scarred.
