Rybak, Alexander - Träden I Villa Borghese Lyrics
Jag lyssnar till trädens sånger
I parken en dag i april
De viskar och knappt hör man orden
Men tonen den finns redan till
Och solen som visade sig
Men mest av allt var det kanske
En vårdags minne av dig
Kom nära mitt hjärta kom nära
Under grönskans silade ljus
Dröjer en bitterljuv längtan
En tid i förälskelsens rus
Så glöm din ensamhets stunder
Kom låt oss färdas tillsammans
Långt längre en minne och namn
Bortom det evigas gränser
Där hör vi varandra till
Ja vinden var det som blåste
I träden en dag i april
[English translation]
I’m listening to the songs of the trees
in the park a day in April
They whisper and you can barely hear the words
but the tone is already there
It was only the wind that was blowing
And the sun that was showing itself
But maybe most of all it was
A springday’s memory of you
Come near my heart come near
Under the greenaries sifting light
A bittersweet longing remains
A time in the rush of love
So forget your lonely moments
Here is my longing embrace
Come let us travel together
Far beyond memory and name
Beyond the borders of eternity
There we belong together
Yes it was the wind that was blowing
In the trees a day in April

Rybak, Alexander Träden I Villa Borghese Comments
Thank you for this lovely Playlist of Alexander Rybak
I kinda understand this (I am from the Netherlands) and it is very alike with dutch and german and sometimes with a little bit of common sense I can make up what he's saying. I can even sing along to resan till dig because I thought it was a beautiful song so I learned the lyrics (not only that) but also what it means. And that makes it even more beautiful. And the tune is catchy. And I like his violin playing in this album so much. It's so easy going and though it has something very sad to it.

I find that the pronunciation is the hardest part to learn. It's not that hard, actually. Especially if you know any language like German or Dutch. Or Norwegian or Danish, they're even more alike.
@NelliesNailArt1 The songs are written by a well known Swedish composer, Mats Paulson.
Why is it Swedish and not Norwegian? :)
it's a beautiful song
does russian and norwegian are two different languages? man,.. it makes me feels like im so left out here.... it doesnt sounds easy to learn.. how i wish i could understand what the heck he was sayin. lol.
