This was a great performance. If he was a little less awkward on the stage, I think he was a real chance to win the comp. Interesting they dint air Jason's critique and cut Tommy's short.

Rex M I remember watching the show and got the distinct feeling that they got rid of him because he was too good and they were afraid that his songs were better than theirs. I was shocked when he got booted.

Ryan and Lukas have mutual respect 4 each other & R friends. They both R talented in their own right. Lukas has put out a ton of his own music. Lukas is a brilliant songwriter-his songs have changed many peoples lives 4 the better including mine. Ive spent alot of personal time w/Lukas w/ Rockfest in Nashville where he lives. RYAN sounds better on his CD. I like many of his songs. Lukas Rossi is doing his own thing-he has come into his own-his vocals now are really great & he is doing solo acoustic work & currently is fronting an alternative band called South Down Resurrection-great band. Lukas is doing a fine job w/them. I know the story behind what happened with RSSN-Lukas was not @ fault. Alot of legal issues r/t TommyLee & the show itself. Jason got seriously hurt-Gilby wanted 2 do his own thing. Just Sharing!

He should have won instead of Lucas. Supernova would have actually been a great and well known band if they had chosen Ryan instead.

@RAWRKatlyn actually, right before this performance, the judges told Magni he should've flung his guitar to add to the aggressiveness of the act.. hence the closeup on Magni right after Ryan threw the guitar.

I agree - Ryan was by far better, but it is a good thing he didn't base his career on it. He is doing better now as a solo artist than Supernova which basically imploded after the end of the show and the first CD.

If anyone gets the chance, go see him on the David Cook Declaration tour. Ryan is David's opening act in many cities and both artists are creative guys that do innovative things with their own and other people's songs
