I've watched "Behind Enemy Lines" a thousand times & never tired of it! This is an awesome song perfect with the ending. The movie, to me, was never boring. It depicted horrors of war without being gratuitous. I was fascinated (I'm simple minded) with the film. It was all normal colors but right after the crash everything was in greys & black. Very little colors. The effects were amazing as well! I don't listen to the type of music he does, but this was great!

well, "rescue blues" he wrote and sang, without all the gadgets at a run down inoperable naval base on the beach down in Mexico barefooted. he sand many more songs in public, and even made the remark, live and was video taped when he sang "when the stars go blue" live - he made the remark he had no recognizable songs, but that people might know "when the stars go blue". oddly he was not asked to wit for the movie BEHIND ENEMY LINES. that kinda hurt me for him because of yoy listen to a lot of his music, you slowly more and more begin to understand the man, which I am extremely attracted to, but it is because I have learned more about the man behind his music.
more than that sir, at one point i was very sad having still to this day been alone since my divorce in 2012, when a stranger sent me a song sang by ryan adams video "a song for you, take me down to your dance floor" and I listened over and over and over and was literally able to see myself standing out in the rain or anywhere listening to that song and v dancing with ryan adams. still he thought he wasn't much on those type songs, but his singing is greater in ballads, in my opinion.

but when I reached one of the lowest points in my life recently, to the point of suicide, there it was, right there in my face on my music screen "SAVE ME", written and recorded by RYAN ADAMS, when I was ready to l let it all go. I had never seen it before or heard it before. so I ask you, before you say what you just said "about his other stuff", please, please, listen to "A SONG FOR YOU" and "SAVE ME", by Ryan, and know I held the knife to my wrist at my lowest point when out popped SAVE ME by RYAN, and actually think of me in my lonliness by myself with.my own sad thoughts, when you hear that song SAVE ME that he thought was nothing (but it stopped the blade against my wrist and + my life).
because for these reasons, If you ever kno RYAN ADAMS or someone that does, please.give him my number in Alabama (251-222-1450) and u tell him i said thank you and I'd like to meet him, with all of my heart.

When you win but... Loose at the end. In the film based on a true story... The pilot does indeed get rescued however the captain looses command of his ship for disobeying orders.
