Ry Cooder - Yellow Roses Lyrics

I used to listen to this on a tape deck in a tent in the mountains where I worked.

I heard him play Danny boy in Dublin 25 years or so ago, I will never forget it but unfortunately I don’t think he ever recorded it. It was just out of this world.

There used to be a Radio Show in Austria on dec 24th where they sang this song ry-cooder-style. I don't know why they did it at christmas, but i loved it nonetheless

Now i have this song in my head every time i'm cleaning up the Christmas tree, which makes me enjoy Christmas even more

Ry Cooder is #1 Love everything he has recorded. Start at the beginning/middle anywhere, not a klunker in the bunch. His music is 3D, visual, theatrical.....

My 1960s country fake book says Kenny Devine

Written by Ken Devine and Sam Nichols per the credits on Mr. Cooder's album. I do believe it was cut by Hank Snow though, as others have said.
