Rush - Here Again Lyrics
I said I played this song so many times before
That the melody keeps repeating
Growing new ideas, flowing chords and notes
Like a mountain river bleeding
They reflect just what I'm learning
Yes, you know that the hardest part, yes, I say it is to stay on top
On top of a world forever churning
Well, you say you can laugh, but I can see that your eyes are glass
Well, do you see, can't you see, what I'm feeling?
Yes, I've seen your face before
Why, I've seen it everywhere
Showing up to me without a scent revealing
Will it stay the same?
I'd surely like to know before it's over
Well, I said I played some
I said it won't be long
Won't be long before I stop and play it over
You know I've, I've seen your face before
Is it ever gonna, ever gonna change again?
Oh, oh, I've, I've been in one place too long
Is it ever gonna, ever gonna change again?

End of feb. 2019 .. still rocks.. whos w me ?
It’s honestly frightening how similar the riffing in this album is to Rocka Rolla by Judas Priest. Both albums are like stones in ones ass trying to discipline the mass youth. Love em both to death.
My favorite song on RUSH. The Cleveland Radio concert (1974) has a great version. Neil at the drums.
Great version on the Agora Ballroom 1974 live album - available in white vinyl too boot.
Excelência!
Still holds up and one of my top 10 fav. Rush songs if you could ever pick only (10)?
killer lyrics
UNDER RATED SINGER
Sirius Deep Tracks did a Neil Peart Rush tribute thing Sunday morning. They played this track at one point, even though it was before Neil came into the band. A great track either way.
ALbum Liner note: For Best Results Play at Maximum Volume
RIP BOTH JOHN RUTSEY AND NEIL PEART
DRUMS : JOHN RUTSEY , NOT NEIL PEART !
NAAACTR Oh, that's why they're not as good as newer stuff
The first great track by Rush.
I always watch videos like "best guitar solos of all time". The lists often differ in some songs, and some songs are always present. But I've never seen one list that included the solo of this song, which is a crime, since this is one of the greatest guitar solos of all time in my opinion. Not just an immense technique, but also tons and tons of feeling!
I absolutely have no words to describe this masterpiece
Nem eu, Samira. Rush é a banda mais perfeita que já ouvi.
Never listened to early Rush. Kind of have a Zeppelin vibe going on.
Mayby it´s time - now?
@KariY never too late to listen to incredible music
no they really '' didnt.
mike n It sounds just like Since I've Been Loving You by Led Zeppelin.
@DaBaconBurger that's the song I was thinking about. Thanks. Rush obviously had their own sound but this particular song had a LZ vibe
Love the Jimmy Page style guitar solo
Why did Neil have to leave us so soon?
God needed him back because Ginger Baker wasn't doing the job
you know he wasn't the drummer on this song, right?
@hollowpoint45acp and you're trying to prove how smart you are. good job. smh
RIP Neil Peart...
Rest in peace, Neil Peart. Best drummer ever.
yet he wasn't the drummer on this song
The drummer is John Rutsey
I read an article on ultimateclassicrock that ranked every Rush song and they had this ranked 160 out of 167. Are they actually insane or just not actual Rush fans? Lol this song is amazing
many douchebag Rush fans (and let's face it, that's most of them) do not like this album at all
It was 1980 when i heard this album first time and this was The Song which started my Rush "fever". By the way, I do not care about working man...
hollowpoint45acp Same with Caress of Steel. A lot of people shit on that album and I love it.
#2 on my KSHE95 Classics playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-tUC9V5fIvPjtGxifJgVEOOlGwSXdazw

The most underplayed song and why is it that the radio stations don't play it? Stupid.
Simple, radios will always play soft-pansy shit. No songs like this to harden us up, except when they play Stairway of course
Excellent video from Rush. Thanks.
Geddy absolutely kills this. One of his most soulful vocals.
An underrated RUSH song. Love it!
One of the coolest riffs in rock history
Um som único, incrível de uma Banda igualmente única ! RUSH. Sublime.
Ok. You 25 who hit the dislike button......you have to be complete aliens. How could anyone dislike this song? It's pure heaven
Those guys are the musician elitist robots who have no soul and who piss on anything that is radio friendly or doesn't have a dozen time signature changes. They probably also claim to play La Villa and YYZ better than the actual band. Lol!
I played this song
so many times before
that the melody
keeps repeating
growing new ideas
flowing chords and notes
like a mountain
river bleeding
I say as I look back
and all the thoughts I've had
they reflect just
what I'm learning
you know
that the hardest part
I say it is to stay on top
of a world forever churning
you say
you can laugh
but I can see
that your eyes are glass
do you see
can't you see
what I'm
feeling
I've seen
your face before
why I've seen
it everywhere
showing up
to me
without a
scent revealing
will it ever change
stay the same
I'd surely like to know
before it's over
I said
I played some
I said it
won't be long
won't be
long before
I stop and play
it over
I've seen your
face before
is it ever gonna
change again
I've been in one
place too long
Is it ever gonna
change again
I said I played this song
So many times before
That the melody keeps repeating
Growing new ideas
Flowing chords and notes
Like a mountain river bleeding
Well, I say as I look back
And all the thoughts I've had
They reflect just what I'm learning
Yes, you know that the hardest part
Yes, I say it is to stay on top
On top of a world forever churning
Well, you say you can laugh
But I can see that your eyes are glass
Well, do you see, can't you see, what I'm feeling?
Yes, I've seen your face before
Why, I've seen it everywhere
Showing up to me without a scent revealing
Well, I said will it ever change?
Will it stay the same?
I'd surely like to know before it's over
Well, I said I played some
I said it won't be long
Won't be long before I stop and play it over
Oh, oh I've, I've seen your face before
Is it ever gonna, ever gonna change again?
Oh, oh I've, I've been in one place too long
Is it ever gonna, ever gonna change again?
Cauê Lopes no Neil needed lol
Este som é simplesmente uma viagem ... sem volta !!!!
What a voice Geddy had and he was just 21 and they wrote it too.
They were just 20 when this album was recorded in 1973 - amazing writing and playing
Under appreciated. Used to listen to this riding my bike around at night as a depressed teenager..
Definitely underappreciated. As is the entire first album.
Since I've Been Loving You ?
RITA DE CASSIA CARVALHO DOS SANTOS Carvalho But better
Melhor, né
Rush é fantástico,maravilhoso demais.
Verdade, meu amigo. Aprendi a ouvir com o meu pai. Desde pequeno ficava encantado pelo som e pelos vocais. Um abraço.
Rush é perfeito
Masterpiece 🤟🤟
Oh yeah! Amazing!
Awesome song.
one of the best songs that Rush have ever made.
Dude, I think I agree. There are so many to choose from, but this song is just sublime.
No joke - Seriously & Caress of Steel - sadly forgotten - still got on cassette - think I'll go back & listen ✌️
for real''
