You are right, Rory is fantastic! Donnie left the band in 1997, before this song was recorded. Donnie will always be missed, but Runrig continues!

It was Laurel Clark on Columbia that died loving Runrig and used this track as her wake up call on the mission.

The school teacher Christa McAuliffe was on Challenger 1986, Dr Laurel Clark who was a great Runrig fan was on Columbia 2003.

I always loved this track; and runrig too. But finding out Laurel Clark used this as her wake up song adds a whole new depth to the song.

My then boyfriend and I ended up dancing to one of Runrig's song while in a store in Oban. I had to buy the CD they were playing. Since that time in 2009 we've gotten married and had a friend from Hamilton Scotland sing Every River at our wedding for us... yes the song we had danced to the first time hearing Runrig. David you are correct summers in the highlands are amazing and so is our Pacific Northwest. Thank you for posting this.

You have a great channel so I just subbed to you. I use to live in Seattle but live in Olympia now. I have never been to Scotland but always been my dream to visit or even move there. I just found out about this band a few months ago and so glad I did. They are fantastic. I made a Runrig playlist because I love their music so much. My favorite is "The Greatest Flame" but they are all great. My grandfather on my father's side was born in Scotland so I am Scottish/Irish.
