I happen to of stumbled upon Xavier Rudd in Australia at the Zoo. (I live in California USA). We stood in the rain and listened to this man warm up for his concert that he was doing later that evening. It was pure magic. Those few hours.....Thank You Xavier Rudd for making your brand of music. I appreciate it.

i like various types of music, but i will note that types made out of blues scales don't bring you up, they bring you down. same thing with how some electronic frequencies have a physical and mental effect on you. taste is purely subjective, but if you are looking to elevate mood and consciousness, it'a fact that diminished notes, minor scales, etc are the devil's music. just saying. i still listen, but with more open eyes than before. music is much more powerful than entertainment.

How can
music be the Devils music?? In western music u have 12 notes incl. the flats and sharps. All these notes appear in different scales. Music can influence your mood and energy level yes!! But it has nothing to do with the Devil. Dont talk rubbish!!

Just because there are a handful of people aren't in it for artistic merit, doesn't mean there isn't thousands that aren't. Allow me to re-iterate the later part of my original comment where I said 'DIG' around. If you honestly allow commercials and mainstream media to govern your opinion of anything, let alone the depth of a music style, then you should reconsider your standpoint.

Xavier rudd is amazing but you gotta respect that there are a vast array of artists who know what they're doing, making the world a better place within dubstep, techtrance, psytrance, jazz, drum n bass, dub, psydub, electronica, metal, rock, psychedelica and progressive rock etc etc..
musc makes the world a better place regardless of the style.
open your mind Dig around a bit more, don't be put off by a few images and scenes associated with a genre and

outstanding.
