I'm an American and aware that this song rightfully criticizes the USA, as the best American rock/folk artists have also done. I can't stop listening to this song. The musicianship, the lyrics, the beat, the rhythm, all done by one man while he does circular breathing on the didgeridoo. I've listened to a lot of Xavier Rudd but this performance is my favorite.

Dude, it's hard for musicians to play ANY instrument and sing. LET ALONE playing guitar, singing, playing didgeridoo, keeping time drum wise with your feet, AND MOST OF ALL, playing didgeridoo while practicing CIRCULAR BREATHING, and STILL jamming on guitar. Oh AND the song is kick ass and original. I'm American and LOVE Xavier Rudd and this song.

Ok man I am gettin frustrated. What tuning is this? He strums it open at the beginning of this video and I cannot duplicate that tone! Tried Open G open A Open E and open D. Nothing fits! So frustrated as I want so badly to try to duplicate this.

Saw him perform live three times last year while he was touring with Izintaba. Got to meet and hang out with them after one of the shows...talked about all sorts. Awesome guy, chilled and peaceful. Easy going with everyone. :)

@alan3888 I used to wonder about this - I distorted my own acoustic at a few open mics and found (and was kinda pleased, too) it sounded like two guitars, although i couldn't figure out why. When I finally did, boy, i felt stupid, cause its actually kinda obvious... all it is is the sound of the acoustic (even if you distort it, its still an acoustic, and its still making noise acoustically) getting picked up by the various mics! If you listen, it also gives his clean tone a chorus-y sound.

@alan3888 maybe he is using a lopper o smthing like that, he plays the clean part first, record it with the loop pedal and then plays the distortion one
