Absolutely love the sound of this bad. Wish I knew more bands with this sound, it is perfection

I feel the closest resemblance is to Kings Of Leon (Ragoo, Manhattan, Fans, etc). The Black Keys (Howlin' For You, Gold On The Ceiling) was a really good suggestion by Mitchell Porter too. I think Matt Corby (Brother, Resolution, etc) would make a pretty good suggestion as well along with Mumford & Sons (Little Lion Man, Hopeless Wanderer, etc). They all have that sort of rustic feel to their songs/voices.But they're all just some suggestions, I might have a different interpretation to what sounds similar. The Rubens released this song about two years ago, and at the time they were just a group of boys from a country town near where I live.
No one had heard of them at the time, but this song helped me get through the worst summer of my life.
This song reached out to so many hearts and is still just as achingly beautiful as the first time it was recorded, I really think these boys deserve the fame they've fallen into.
