Roy Orbison - Here Comes That Song Again Lyrics
Here comes that song again
They're playing that song again
I guess it will never end
They're playing it again
Here comes that old ache within
The story of my life begins
They're telling it again
I'll have to leave
I can't bear it anymore
There must be a place where
They'll play a different score
Here comes that song again
My heart will never mend
They're playing it again
Here comes that song again
The jukebox must have found a friend
My heart will never mend
They're playing it again

Roy Orbison Here Comes That Song Again Comments
I Love That Song Again!!!
No one could ever match him
Weird, I can't find a stereo version anywhere else. Is this legitimate, or did someone make this stereo version?
Its just brilliant. Roy's voice the orchestration.
Classic catchy 60s juke box track.
Love it !
Beautiful song, written by Dick Flood, who is now Okefenokee Joe! If you think this is an amazing song, please look up Dick Flood, aka Okefenokee Joe. He was and is a proflific singer songwriter!
I first heard this song in march 1962 has have played it since.

I hope to meet him in heavan one dayi listen yo is songs al the time
He is a walking well oiled vocal machine. No blemishes just pure perfection
This song was also recorded by " The Velvets " ; and was also done beautifully .
Recorded in RCA Studio B, Nashville. Going there in April. Will be in awe of standing on spot he sang this and A side Only The Lonely.
Yes and I'm sure that's the wonderful Anita Kerr Singers backing him up. They did a lot of work in that famous studio!!!
that voice is something that is very special and in my opinion cannot be betterd by another artist who was recording at that time
love this song
that voice is something special ,and i dont think any singer can generate that sort of feeling in a ballad type song today
What a singer I was a kid when I heard Roy Orbison, and since I was hooked and a total surprise I found this song I knew the Velvets sang it but what a sound 8/23/16
Luigi Dimarco great singer
love this song a have this rare album
+James Wightman ...COLUMBIA Records Long Play album ?...me too and the 'Only the loney' single...
Love he's songs x
He was the best !!!
No one will ever top that voice in my opinion. So sorry he died so soon!!
So much emotion he was the best voice ever...!!
Did you know that Roy lost his wife and kids?? He sang from his heart and I love him for that.
Claudette Frady Orbison died on the 06.06.66 in a motorcycle accident at the age of 25 in old hickory..., he then lost Anthony King Orbison and Roy DeWayne Orbison in a house fire not very long after.. Roy's parents Orbie Lee Orbison and Nadine Vesta Schultz Orbison along with Wesley Kelton Orbison were lucky enough to survive.. he was on tour at the time..
Did you know that Elvis was afraid to have a concert to close to ROYS??
Elvis also said Roy Orbison is the best singer of all time.. His voice is unmatched.
Elvis would never follow Roy on stage, he believed it would make him sound flat.
This is my favorite song.
B-Side of "Only The Lonely". Super job by The Big "O".
"True", I played this song over and over, one night at the Airmen's Club at Sheppard's Air Fore Base in 1962. I have to play it every time I'm on YouTube.
Same here but in 1962 I played it over and over at Carswell AFB Ft Worth Tx.
just so beautiful
HERE COMES THAT SONG AGAIN was written by the prolific songwriter, DICK FLOOD aka OKEFENOKEE JOE! He & Roy were both with MONUMENT RECORDS for a time. He continues to pursue his passion of songwriting! DICK disappeared into the Okefenokee Swamp for a time & came out OKEFENOKEE JOE, penning songs about his love of nature & the Earth we live upon & giving presentations across the southeast. Now devoting more time to writing & recording country music the way it use to be & inspirational songs!
Esta canção é realmente linda. Gosto muito de "Blues in my mind" também. Quem ainda não ouviu, ouça. Roy é sensacional!
Wonderful Stuff Roy Orbison at his best
@endago
As big a fan as I am of Elvis, I don't think anyone could beat this version, it's Roy at his best.
You,re so right about that.
he had a voice like silk. will be none like him ever again.
You're welcome.
This reminds me of Eddy Arnold's music for some reason.
He had an outstanding fantastic voice!
Thanks.
