I remember seeing this odd looking man shuffle up to the mic on the Ed Sullivan show and meekly greet the studio audience and then this voice just floated out of the clouds and blew us all away............I'll never forget it. RIP Roy.

This song does it for me. I remember how it affected me back in the day. The sound of Roy singing it did for me what the sight of a half-dressed Gina Lollobrigida must have done for boys. Thing is, though, I hear Falling today, 2019, and it affects me the same way it did back then. Believe me, boys and girls, you're never too old. I love, absolutely love, this song.

Superb Artist.. second only to Elvis in my opinion.. yet he had more talent than Elvis.. but Elvis was Elvis as we know.. still.. Roy was a genuis musician, producer and songwriter.. and the voice was ridiculously brilliant.
I think Roy Orbinson has a better voice than any other singer of all times....he holds such a beautiful note. Love Elvis.....love Frank but hands up its Roy...I am 35 and know i will never hear a voice like that
