After the 13th consecutive time I listened to this, the voodoo vibes from the rythem section began to penetrate my mind, a very negative energy, of which you can hear the evil in, as my mind sections it off from the positive energy of the song. This is what he powers that be, use to make night mares and dream paralysis transpire in humans and spirits as well. I know this for sure because I am always experimenting/working on my mind, especially while transitioning from the sleep realm to that of the waking world, the realm in between.

I think he died of a broken heart too. I read that he had a poor diet and binge ate and then starved himself, which I think is connected to the depression of losing his wife and sons.

Could hardly believe my eyes when I saw Tom Waits on the keys! Unusual setting to find him in, warms the heart. There he is at 0:18, 3:13 and 3:18. Absolute legend, as is Roy Orbison and pretty much everyone else on that stage.
