Roy Orbison - Big As I Can Dream Lyrics

I know they don't think that I'll amount to much
But your love has given me the magic touch
Just put your faith in me and strange as it may seem
I will build a dream for you
Big as I can dream

I know that they want the best things for you
That is just what I have planned
If they only knew.

There's no mountain that's too high
I can ford any stream
For your love I can be
Big as I can dream.

There's no mountain that's too high
I can ford any stream
For your love I can be
Big as I can dream
Big as I can dream
Big as i can dream.

Another great song from the great singer Roy Orbison.  Roy left us with so many wonderful songs to enjoy, his wonderful voice and great talent will live on for many years.

James, your right about the song, this was the first time I heard of it, but I am familiar with Roy Orbison, when he died, we lost one of our greatest performers!

@larry ball I saw him in concert in Calgary, about a year before he passed away...so very glad I went....also there is (imho) an excellent bio of him that was written shortly after he died, called "Only the Lonely"; an excellent read, I highly recommend it...

Thankyou, I'll check it (the biography) out! We've had contests at work, a song comes on and we guess singer/song, I try to be versatle enough to have an edge, fun game, in music everybody wins!

@larry ball Sounds like a fun thing....in "happier days", I would play little snippets of tunes, commercials, theme-songs etc. on my guitar, and people would guess what it was...btw, the Orbison bio was by Alan Clayson.
