Hate the "guitar" or whatever the hell it is. And where are the drums? Pers repetition of the first chorus is ruined in this version. It was the best part of the original.

Definetely prefer the original. The real The Look is in my opinion the best pop-song ever made.

I like this version for them, for having fun and enjoying what they do for themselves. I am happy for them. I love the original so much but this one sounds still good because all they changed was the instruments and the band music. The vocals are still there unlike other musicians who change up notes and everything too much ending up the song is not even close to its original at all.

The vocals have definitely been rerecorded here. They sound different from the original.

Nope, did not have to do this. Orig is legendary, this is plastic. I understand musicians evolve, but this won't say a thing to 40yo 90ties fan of Roxette. And not much to teenagers these days, as it lacks rap/hip-hop (thank god). Tones of Roxette's songs are between very good and brilliant, not this one.

As a teenager, I completely disagree. My dad introduced me to Roxette at age 6 and I LOVE it.

No Remake, remix or a mashup can sound like the original version. I see the efort but the original song is priceless.

I really think you're on to something.. But there is a Remastered version of the Look already.. And I heard it on a Swedish Tv4 Show back in 90 when there was kind of a Release Party and Concert for the Joyride World Tour.. And I've been "LOOKing" for it ever since I heard it that day.. It would be amazing in Clubs and Discotheques all over.. And it's over 5.min. long, But I've never heard that whole song, cos the Tv Show didn't play all of it... I had it on VHS-Tape..lol.. I think that it can be on an "Album" called Rarity's or sumthing.. But that was never released here, and I've not been able to get it... Anyone have some info about it.. I wanna know..??

Missing the head drum when the lyrics say " banging on the HEAD DRUM" (that's why it was in the original in the first place)... and this version is generally too clean, imo...

I like the original back in 1988 which made those 'synth' beats more prominent with some guitar thrown in (The 80s music heyday trademark). Nowadays, guitars and keyboards are in harmony thanks to better music tech which makes this re-record not the greatest instrumentally vs vocally. Time to dust off the Roxette music catalog. Everyone's a critic.

Christopher's sound is old fashioned. I'm really tired of waiting Roxette to come up with something new and exciting. Their last good song was the centre of the heart. Their new sound just sounds like a joke to me, they sound like the beatles. I really dislike that old fashioned kind of stuff. Their music lacks the strength and melancholy that Jonas's guitar imprinted to their songs. To me it's not Roxette anymore; it's Christopher and his musicians.

The cancerous tumor was surgically removed, but months of chemotherapy and radiation treatments left her physically weak, unable to read, and nearly blind in one eye.Roxette toured live recently.The YouTube uploads from their recent live concerts show a very weak looking Marie Fredriksson still.She mostly is shown sitting on a chair on the stage holding a microphone with the live crowd snging with her to help her along Unfortunately it's obvious from what can be heard of her singing voice now that it is not as powerful as it once was.Very sad!

In my opinion good, but overpruduced. Especially the guitar in some parts. It's good, but the original is way better. They said, this remake will show us, how a few songs could sound on the new album (coming out at the end of this year or in 2016). It's okay, but I hope it's not that overproduced. But Roxette is one of my favorite bands since I heard their songs in the 80's for the first time. This won't change.

I thought I wasn't going to like it, I was wrong. Can't wait for the new album.
