Rossum, Emmy - Sentimental Journey Lyrics
Gonna take a sentimental journey
Gonna set my heart at ease
Gonna make a sentimental journey
To renew old memories
Spent each dime I could afford
I'm like a child in wild anticipation
I long to hear that "All aboard!"
Seven, that's the time we leave at - seven
I'll be waiting up for heaven
Counting every mile of railroad track
That takes me back
I never thought my heart could be so yearny
I'm gonna take this sentimental journey
Sentimental journey home
Seven, that's the time we leave at - seven
I'll be waiting up for heaven
Counting every mile of railroad track
That takes me back
I never thought my heart could be so yearny
Now, why did I decide to roam?
I gotta take this sentimental journey
Sentimental journey home

Rossum, Emmy Sentimental Journey Comments
She's always been great to look at. Now I'm in love. She's incredible.
Thumbs up !
Suuper!♥RJ
I'd like to land my Biplane in her cornfield.
This is the song we're doing for show choir.
Thinking Jessica Jones looks like her
I love Emmy! Such a wonderful voice. My own voice was inspired by hers in Phantom of the Opera.
Mine too 😍 she is so amazing
Best Version, best voice, beautiful song.
Damn! Her voice is amazing!I like the style of this song!
WOW....BEAUTIFUL....LOVE THIS ONE. Thank you for sharing.
Das ist klassische Fahrstühlmusik auf 7 Etagen::;P
Она чудесна, как моя Женщина!
I think Ms. Rossum blows Doris out of the water on this song...JMO.
One year in the 60s. All my father wanted was for my mother to sing this song for him. She had it recorded for him. Not an easy task considering the only way at the time was to have put on vinyl. We did find it and played at his wake. Mom had a very strong voice. At 80 plus she also sang it at the funeral. This was a sentimental journey!
Wow that's really touching, thanks for sharing.
Beautiful story
The original version's introduction was way too long! I have loved Doris Day since I watched her sing in 'The Man Who Knew Too Much' though. Great rendition!
Beautiful music. Boy, those were the days.
Gostei desta música sentimental

Infringement* - however this my all-time favorite rendition of this song.
The best version of this song. Good song - great singer.
God i love this woman. How talented is she! Wow! Incredibly beautiful, smoldering voice.
When someone has a beautiful voice like she does it needs to be noticed. She is like Christina Aguilera she has a beautiful voice but it's not recognized as much as Christina's is.
I think Emmy was born 75 years to late she seems like someone who would have been a very popular singer and actress during the 1920's through the 1960's. But she did an amazing job covering all the songs she did I think the original artists who sang these songs, dead or alive are very proud of her for covering them so well.
i agree i think i was born almost 100 years too late haha the 20s-50s definitely one of worlds greatest times in terms of music and innovation nothing else i wish we could bring back this style
she has an amazing voice that needs to be noticed!
Lovely voice, I wish I could sing like her, she needs to be more recognized as an actress and singer.
lovely voice woman.....keep up the good work
Smooth as silk and cool as the other side of the pillow.
that sound to good compare to my January man!! :P
So beautiful!!!!!
I love Doris Day and always felt nobody could touch her when it comes to this song, but I have to admit, Emmy nails it! She has a beautiful voice and excellent taste in music.
I love this. I am a life long Doris fan and Emmy here gives me the same shiver up the spine that Doris and her voice does. Good job I say! no one else could come that close.
Does not compare to the original by Doris Day. I am not a Doris Day fan but she really can sing. Tim
