Incredible production: two funky rhythm guitars hard-panned left and right, funky tight bass holding down the bottom, lead vocals, harmony background vocals, horn section, AND string section. The only thing I don't hear is keyboards, which might be in the mix but just hard to hear.

Slowly I have struggled to overcome my bias and bigotry against disco( I blame my wife's influence) yes I am a child of the 1980s.

I went to see this at the movies Car Wash, Super Fly, I think I was 9... lol back when you could do stuff as a kid without a parent before Age restrictions started, or before they cared...lol love this movie. I learned alot from it. Love this song so much, when music was good.
