I so love Rosanne. I also love Bobby Bare. I grew up wit his music on the stereo. I got a chance to see Bobby about 5 years ago in Green Bay. I was amazed that at his age he sounded just like the man I heard as a kid. He (still has it )!! So greatful for these people. I could have went and talked to Bobby after the performance, but my sense of ( just leave them alone) kicked in. I always wanted to respect there space. Looking back.. I wished I would have said thanks to him. I guess my thought was , there are so many fans that you are just another idiot bothering them. Truth is....his music was a big part of my life. So many great memories attributed to his songs.

Roseanne Cash is underappreciated. Fine, fine artistry and interpretation. The thing I like about country music is the lack of the singer-songwriter crap.

George Strait is another brilliant interpreter - in BOTH Spanish and English.

I heard this song today on WAMU FM 105.5 (DC) BluegrassCountry.org and it kicks butt, great song, great musicians, great singers....they hit this one out of the park for sure.
