Rodney Crowell - Now That We're Alone Lyrics
And tell me what you're feelin' now
That everybody 's left and gone.
Anybody break your heart?
Anybody done you wrong?
Hey, I know what you need to hear
Now that we're alone
Now that we're alone
Let's talk about it now that we're alone.
And too many smiling faces
Try to turn your head around
Too many times and places
When those uptown dreams
Just drag you down.
Hey, I know what you need tonight
Now that we're alone
Oh, now that we're alone
Let's talk about it now that we're alone.
Now you might see rain outside your window
And you might hear footsteps down your hall
So tell me what you think about it
Now that the day's complete.
Anybody hurt your feelings, darling?
Did anybody cut you deep?
Hey, I know what you need to know
I'm never gonna let you go.
Now that we're alone
Now that we're alone
Let's talk about it now that we're alone.
Now you might see rain outside your window
And you might hear footsteps down your hall
So tell me what you're feelin' now
That everybody's left and gone
Anybody break your heart?
Anybody done you wrong?
Hey, I know what you need tonight
I'm gonna hold you tight
Now that we're alone
Oh, now that we're alone
Let's talk about it now that we're alone.
Let's talk about it now that we're alone.

There are only two things I can say about this singer: the first thing and then the second thing. There, I said them.
There are 2 things I can about this singer..The first thing and the second thing.
I once twisted Rodney's ear.
The first time I heard this was the first time I'd ever heard it.
...and that smoking Stuart Smith guitar. Both are just the best!
"1991" so long ago, feels like a hundred years ago.
My favorite RC song is usually that last one I heard. This one has been my favorite all day
long :)
Love this song! Rodney is a very talented singer/songwriters.
What a talented man! Love this song. I have never heard it before tonight. Drinking a Corona, listening to music like this....life is good.
Rodney hit #17 with this on 1-12-91.
@Tulessa Slone Yes it should have.
Listening to "Aint enough Miles. That song rocks!
Oops ! By Royal Wade Kimes.
I agree. would have easily hit #1 a year earlier when Rodney was in his radio prime. "What Kind Of Love" is another one that should have gone the distance.
Actually hit #11 on Billboard on 1-12-91 on the older chart method.
One of his best!
