Rod Stewart - Sweet Little Rock 'N' Roller Lyrics

Nineteen years old and as sweet as she could be
All dressed up like a downtown Christmas tree
Dancin' and hummin' a rock 'n' roll melody
She's the daughter of a well respected man
who taught her how to jerk and understand
then she became a rock 'n' roll music fan

Sweet little rock 'n' roller, sweet little rock 'n' roller
Her daddy doesn't have to scold her
Her partner can't hardly hold her
Because she never gets any older
Sweet little rock 'n' roller

Shoulda seen her eyes when the band began to play
and the famous singer sang and bowed away
When the stars were gone she screamed and yelled hurray
Ten thousand eyes were watchin' them leave the floor
Five thousand tongues are screaming out "More" and "More"
About fifteen hundred waiting outside the door

Sweet little rock 'n' roller, sweet little rock 'n' roller
Her daddy doesn't have to scold her
Her partner can't hardly hold her
Because she never gets any older
Sweet little rock 'n' roller

Great Rock'n'Roll performance, the rhythm guitarist really nails it.
The constant riffing through the choruses is a bit much imo.

Blondes have more fun is a GREAT Rock n Roll too, in fact he does RnR very well but switched to a more $$ market friendly mix of ballad types or the genre of the time, he usually puts out a track in the current soup of the day style and counts the dollars and buggers off back to his Football pitch, patiently awaiting another musical Genre to evolve so he can do a quick raid$$ and get some petrol money. One thing is fo sho, Rod has endured so hes obv got the GOODS! Kiwi Rod fan of nearly FIDDY YEARS now,...good grief is it Fiddy Years, where does that elusive bloody TIME disappear to?!! Rods right...Youths a mask and it dont LAST!

Living LONG and living FAST!!!!...way to go rockers!! :)

Yeah he'll let's keep the dog in. You couldn't make this stuff up. Absolutely Brilliant.
I hope someone knows the dog's story.
All I know is the dog belonged to a drummer that borrowed drum kits. On this recording it's the band FREE'S drum kit that was laying around the studio and he used it on this record and he always turned up with his dog and never any drums lol.
Any info the dog, It's name? it's breed? It's sex? It's age at the recording? Where and when it died? It's grave?
This dog has been heard by millions and it should Be Famous.
