This song is probably an older song, but I heard it for the first time about a week ago.
Sitting in my driveway with a carload of groceries, I had to bow my head as the teardrops streamed from my eyes after the gut punch of your performance of this song.

About 4 months ago, my 26 year old daughter made the decision to estrange herself from me. We shared laughs, music, songs, sun, hiking, scary movies and much, much more.
She had a better than average youth. But, through the "help" of counseling, she figured out a way to rewrite her upbringing and learned how to hate me. We haven't spoken since.

So, this song epitomizes our relationship now.

Acutely left to wonder what happened, why it happened and the guilt of a crime I didn't commit has ripped my heart completely in half.

But, hearing "Didnt I" gives me a seed of strength I feel might grow. Hopefully it will grow into something that will be beautiful part of my life. But for now, it's still hard to see through these tears.

This song is about his daughter, but for me irs about all those in my circle of family and Todd the LOML, who decided to cheat with an ex friend of mine. I took her and her 2 kids in when her mom kicked her out on the street. Some graditude i got. They started cheating 5 months later. It started july 2018 and is still going on, well he's locked-up right now but im sure they will resume. For some crazy reason he thinks he loves her, but couldn't stand her b4 they hit a dirt road after i pissed him off so bad. He'll find out how fake she is and I'll be long gone. She was real loyal to me, a friend that helped her when no one else would. She made-up dummy accounts of men and would make a post then comment as one of those men in order to lasso Todd in. Well bitch i have news for your fake hypocritical ass. When he gets out, your in for the fight of your life. I will not just let YOU have the man ive loved n adored for 7 yrs.
