The lyrics of this song certainly don't describe the life of Rod Stewart though, Michael!  Over the years, the dude has acquired the reputation as a bit of a ladies' man (as we all know).  In fact, it would be no exaggeration to state that, in his younger days, Stewarty was a babe magnet, and one of the great 'Casanovas' of his generation .... roughly on a par with the late, great Mr George Best (G.R.H.S.).
