Robin Trower - Sailing Lyrics

I am sailing, I am sailing, home again 'cross the sea
I am sailing, stormy waters, to be near you, to be free.

I am flying, I am flying, like a bird 'cross the sky
I am flying, passing high clouds, to be with you, to be free.

Can you hear me? Can you hear me? Through the dark night, far away
I am dying, forever trying, to be with you, who can say?

Can you hear me? Can you hear me? Through the dark night, far away
I am dying, forever trying, to be with you, who can say?

We are sailing, we are sailing, home again 'cross the sea
We are sailing stormy waters, to be near you, to be free
Oh Lord, to be near you, to be free
Oh my Lord, to be near you, to be free
Oh my Lord, to be near you, to be free
Oh Lord.

The music of this era is Britain's gift to the world that will live forever. I want to go back to the 70's when I heard this for the first time. It was like I found treasure.

I've got all of his recordings on vinyl, and have traveled to see his shows. In my book, Robin is one of the most overlooked guitarists, not only in the history of rock, but in the history of recorded music. Imagine those airhead at that toilet paper rag called Rling Stone, that ranked Jack White over Robin? Are they shitting me? That turd couldn't tune Robin's instrument, let alone be ranked above a legend who has a vast catalogue of music. My story, two thumbs up for Robin, a loud belch for the one-hit wonder.

Rolling Stone and the Rock Hall of Fame missed it for sure, shows what dumb fucks they really are! Those who know don't need that bullshit anyway! Robin has been and still is the best!!
