Robin Trower - Lady Love Lyrics

Lady love, I heard a voice and it soothed me
Lady love, a simple tune and it moved me
Move me and sooth me
Leading me home
Truly for me now
Lady love

Lady love, a man's a fool to believe in
dreams of love, passing by like the seasons.
Maybe I'll wake up
Oh tell me I will
And find you there waiting

Lady love

Lady love, I need some warm and tender
Nights of love, sweet and fine to remember
Maybe tomorrow, your fever will find me
Waiting for me now
Lady love
I'll find you waiting, lady love
Find you there waiting, lady love
I'll find you waiting, lady love
Waiting, waiting lady love

I had this on an 8 track and wore it out! Riding in my 66 Olds Cutlass.

    F.... R....

Had it in my Craig Powerplay 8 track as well...…..66' GTO...…………..and "might" have had a doobie burnin'.

    F.... R....

I had it blaring when I hit a slick spot in my 72 dodge demon and ate a tree. It didn't stop it from playing tho and I remember it still playing when they loaded me up on the meatwagon.

    F.... R....

Sounded good in a Yugo as well :)

    F.... R....

    @Ross T Lol that's great man!!

    F.... R....

    J.... D....

@Terry R Lol...I love cowbell songs. And the SNL skit!!!

    J.... D....

@radar0412 not everyone enjoys our opinions concerning cowbell.

    J.... D....

It's got the perfect amount of tambourine, though.

    J.... D....

You could play an old washboard and Robin Trowers genius would still sound great.

    J.... D....

@Grok Effer wonder if it was green?

  29. t.... s....

    the 70s..............great days ....and Trower...

  30. s.... p....

Remaster fantastic, the late james dewars voice is fox and clever together with robin, what a tight band, glad to have this l.p./ cd .

  31. w.... ....

Great song. This remastered version is great. Back in the late 70s I had the album (Bridge of Sighs) whence this song came. Hearing it again for the first time in years brings back some hauntingly vivid memories.

    w.... ....

No doubt. I long for those times, reflecting from a world of shit.

  32. B.... ....

James vocals so good, great blues rock voice

    B.... ....

    mountain

    B.... ....

  33. d.... r....

sorry Ron, here is the master of tone!

  34. s.... ....

Yes. Awesome!! I need to dance.. Thanks Ronald.

  35. R.... J....

How come NO ONE has commented on this Remaster? Are you like in la-la land? Sheesh! Primo Gold!

    R.... J....

Pure Gold...James DeWar Bass & the greatest of all time vocals!

    R.... J....

the original was primo back in the day.

    R.... J....

Why comment on perfection, just listen!!!😎

    R.... J....

I don't see the comparison to Hendrix at all. They both have their own style to me. Remastered is cool, but I was lucky enough to see him live in 1974 and haven't heard anything better than that. Same goes for Tull and Sammy and a few others I can think of.

    R.... J....

    IT IS GREAT RON .
