Robert Plant - The Way I Feel Lyrics

See what I'm driving at and I'm back behind the wheel
Just a little nervous - it's something to do with the way I feel
With the way I feel, with the way I feel
Trouble understanding - nothing too out of hand
A little overloaded - some kinda storm in the heart of the man
Oh - in the heart of the man
I must have heard it somewhere
I can't quite remember

Look what I've turned into and I'm back inside the car
We travelled in luxury - a little celebration went a touch too far
Just a touch too far, just a touch too far
I must have passed it somewhere
Now I can't quite remember
But here it comes again

The mirror tries to please me - the image wouldn't stay
The stranger is too perfect to take my breath away
The future rides beside me - tomorrow in his hand
The stranger turns to greet me and take me by the hand

Look what I've turned into, and I'm back inside the car
We travelled in luxury - a little celebration went a touch too far
Just a touch too far, just a touch
It something to do with the way I feel, with the way I feel

The mirror tries to please me [etc repeated]

Now and Zen - четвертый сольный альбом Роберта Планта, выпущенный 29 февраля 1988 года Es Paranza Records.
В ответ на несанкционированный отбор Beastie Boys некоторых песен Led Zeppelin на их альбоме 1986 года Licensed to Ill, Плант также использовал образцы песен Led Zeppelin ( "Whole Lotta Love", "Dazed and Confused", "Black Dog", "P заварной крем" и "The Ocean") в "Tall Cool One", дополнительно поющие слова из "Когда разрывается дамба".

This album came out in the 80's when it was cool to love great music and the lead singers of the band's all had hair and awesome voices. Especially this guy, with the hair and voice that would not quit...can you tell he is a Leo just by his ability to make his voice roar like a lion?

I am so sorry but l do think Mr Plant is very good looking. He was always good looking. I am from a time long long ago when people didn't get plastic surgery. We all age differently. Don't forget your personality shines through your face. Mr. Plant has loads of love, gratitude, and experience for every line on his face. I love a face with a map of their lives on it. We all age, and if you are lucky you will too. Blessings to all of you!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

    Natasha Semrau

Thank you for Highlighting my comment. Watch their movie from the seventies, and then tell me what you feel about the band's looks. We loved their music before we saw their faces, back in the olden days.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

  50. Dyn Jarren

In the first photo, he held his hands out over Los Angeles and declared “Im a Golden God! If anyone else said that I’d say they were crazy but in his case I have to say he was right! He was at the peak of his powers back in the 70’s and could do no wrong! Once during an early tour, the power went out on his microphone on stage and the audience could still hear his vocals over the music! That’s how powerful a singer he was! Legendary!

    cyberian2007

That is the pic from the Cameron Crowe article Creem Magazine...think I still own the issue.

Beautiful song and great pictures thanks Kevin!

  59. Alicia Soto Torres

ESPECTACULAR !!!!

    Eleona Daf

    Em resumen, Es Perfecto.💞

  60. Stephen Stone

    Golden.

  63. ARTHUR D DUDA

His great character and soul still shows in his face and even looks more wise and has more character now.. you can tell a seasoned man and a face that's lived loved fought thought and felt pain and sorrow... plus kinda a pirate vibe going now too and that's alright Robert... thank you sir for the memories and a soundtrack to our lives... hey maybe you could get in the next PIRATES of the Caribbean.....

    Doug Boyle! Rocks on this!

  69. Andre Newcomb

So many of these solo songs of his take a sort of 'pop' format . . . but there's much that is uniquely quality. I think it's instrumentation that is diverse and composition and execution.

A Legend of an Artist !!! WOW

  72. reezon21

Daultry was never into drugs. Plant losing his son gave him a whole new perspective on life and he just made a choice

    Jim Lamanna

reezon21 When you sell your soul there's a huge price to pay. Only Jones did not. Greatest band ever

    Durell Dailey

Jim Lamanna: What price did Page pay? If anyone was satanic, it would be Jimmy Page! Bonham lost his life and Plant lost his son Karac. Page had stronger satanic ties, yet he seems to have gotten off scot free!

    Jayanna Kelley

Durell Dailey - another conspiracy theory about Jimmy.. 🤦‍♀️

  73. Catgirl Feline

Keep on rocking us forever beautiful robert plant and zepplin

  78. Marilyn Mclean

In 1993 I came back from the Bering Sea, when I came home to Seattle I stayed at The Edgewater Hotel for one night. Robert Plant was doing a show at a place by the name of the Paramount and the next morning I had heard he stayed at my hotel so I told people that I slept with him. Providing he was in the hotel and sleeping that night...omg!!!

    Very good

  84. mart0the0tart

This was my first Zep related release. I got into Zep in the fall of '87 when I was nearly 10. Turned my world upside down. Now & Zen came out in the February '88 and I loved it from the moment I put it on. Later in '88, May, Jimmy Page put out his solo album Outrider and that month Zep reformed for Atlantic 40th. Man '88 was a great year for Zep heads, even if I was only 10 at the time. Id give anything to be back there then

Thanks for the post and let’s all make the bad times brighter for one another. Shine some light peeps! Love from Philly!

  97. ROB HASENWINKLE

How did his son, Karac, pass away? And When did that happen? And was this track off of Now & Zen ?

    Kevin Todd

Oh yeah....RP can write and that song was all about his family and loss.

    ROB HASENWINKLE

Gosh I honestly thought this track was written about his son right after he was born, but as you say it is about his son after his death ... WOW ... this is interesting, and you are right .. I think the accident happened sometime right after, or shortly before, the album Prescence ... is that right?

    Kevin Todd

Yes, that album came out in 76 and he was in New Orleans when Robert heard the news.

    Jayanna Kelley

Kevin Todd - No! Robert’s son passed from upper respiratory infection..

    Jayanna Kelley

ROB HASENWINKLE - Upper respiratory infection. Robert suffered the most with broken ankle/ leg..
