Robbins, Marty - Count Me Out Lyrics
Taking me for granted was your first mistake
And that was the beginning of my last heartache.
And then you added insult to my injury
When you started treating me just as you please.
No more foolish chances am I taking.
You played love's game too rough.
As for me, I've had enough
'Cause the going's got too rough so count me out.
Things I thought important never bothered you.
And you kept on 'till you killed all my love for you.
Doing as you pleased became a part of you
And you can't blame me now for walking out on you.
No more foolish chances am I taking.
You played love's game too rough.
As for me, I've had enough
'Cause the going's got too rough so count me out...

Steel player?
I think it is Bill Johnson who was a damn fine steel player
Bill Johnson plays steelon most of these clips with the piano key board around the stage.Bill died several years ago. I think he was living somewhere in Al. In the middle to late 50's he was living and playing music in Miami,Fl , Donny Young AKA Johnny Paycheck, Charlie Justice and Bill Phillips were down here then

hey Zayn no you're not biased you just know what great music is and especially the one that's singing it like Marty
really love this song from the best singer ever love marty
this one's for you, government.
If only it worked like that
I just saw this on the Marty Stuart Show and they did it acoustically-it was an 11!!!!
He did some very good stuff with Jeanne Pruett so singing her songs came easy to him. trouble was when he sings a song it then becomes his, no singer will do it better. Or am I bias?
Del McCoury Band made a beautiful cover of this song on the 2008 album : Del And The boys
thanks for all the uploads...
wish i was there..
Jeanne Pruett was married in those days to Jack Pruett...Marty's guitar player.
Wonderful * * * * *♥
I've seen this in several of the videos you've posted, but I can't help but admire how wonderfully in sync Marty's back-up singers are and what a great time they all appear to have singing together.
