Well it was originally "Dunder" and "Blixem" which were the original names for the reindeer, being named after the dutch words "Donder and "Bliksem" which translate to "thunder" and "lightning". Wasn't till the 1949 song "Rudolph the red nosed reindeer" that it was changed to "Donner and Blitzen"

You do know the Donner and Blitzen represents Michael the Archangel and Angel Gabriel. Rob Halford is a Christian, although he sings for Judas Priest he has professed his Christianity and I think this is why he's doing winter or Christmas type songs.

I hope Rob puts out another solo METAL album without the Christmas stuff.
