Just saw Rival Sons live for the first time last night at the Filmore in Detroit. What an amazing show! Jay Buchanon's vocals were out of this world. Scott Holiday wailed on guitar as usual with a solid backbone from bass, keys and drums. Easily one of the better shows I've seen in a long time. Catch these guys live if you get the chance. You won't be disappointed.

Saw them as Sabbath's support in Melbourne. Knew nothing about them but I want to know more now. They were FANTASTIC. I want to see them tour OZ. SOON!!!!!!!!!

The riff sorta reminds me of the orchestra part of In the Light by Led Zeppelin but really faintly. Enough to remind me of it but not enough to make me raise an eyebrow you know. Pretty good song

I'm not impressed with any of the songs I've heard from Hollow Bones so far, this is the first time they've disappointed me. I'll give the full album a chance though, maybe it will sound better after a few listens.

Can't Wait for New Album! Drove from AZ to Anaheim last year to see these guys open for Halestorm. Met the drummers Brother in Law and kids after telling them that they were about to see one of the greatest bands out there. So bummed I missed the meet and greet They keep trying to gig them with older bands which I get but I could totally see them with bands like the Black Keys and Kings of Leon ...now that would be a Great Concert!

Local OC boys done good, so definitely been rooting for them for awhile. Saw them in Santa Ana, CA a couple months ago and they KILLED IT!!! That being said, not really a big fan of this song (background vocals in chorus throwing me off). I really feel like this new record is a huge deal and they need to come stronger than this, if they are going to take it to the next level. Crossing my fingers the rest of the record will deliver, becuz these guys have all the ingredients to kick some serious rock-n-roll ass!

To those talking about Jay's vocals need to get their hearing tested...I have been listening to bands for over 30 years and he is one of the best I have heard live or on record. His voice maybe maturing but it is so soulful and he can still belt it out and get those high notes. This is another good sounding track from a top band!

Jay's vocals are getting weaker and weaker... On the first 3 albums his voice was awesome! He could hit those high notes with ease, but due to bad voice technique his voice has gotten a lot deeper and struggles to hit those high notes as you can hear on the song and also you hear it when he sings live the screams are just very raspy..

+Catharina Hogewoning-Janga Utter tosh. Why do vocals have to be perfect anyway, a voice is a living thing, it changes as you age. If you want perfect vocals listen to some autotuned rubbish, but for me, imperfections and honesty are what makes great vocals. I've seen Rival Sons 6 times and I can say I've near heard a bad vocal performance from Jay, or the rest of the band.

Wait until you hear the other tracks, i think you might change your mind.
