Even more when the band puts it in their songs how people ignore the meaning of the songs or don't even listen cause "this is noise" (referencing the beginning in chamber the cartrage). Great awakening is all about that.

Rise Against stopped being RA after Sufferer. It then became Tim's personal project, which is okay, but it doesn't include the same band input that it did prior to their mainstream success.

Read their interviews, and the lyrics to Stained Glass and Marble, Life Less Frightening, Grammatizator, Disparity By Design, Gethsemane etc.
Not to mention that Tim and Joe wear Bad Religion cross buster shirts all the time with Bad Religion written at the top (especially Joe, just look at their performance at the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds in 2011 for one example). The Bad Religion cross buster is the one in my YouTube icon.

I've been a Rise Against fan for over a year now, and whenever I would listen this song, I would be confused by the intro and wonder where the heck it was from. And then last night I watched American Beauty, (Which is a fantastic film by the way) and it seemed like all of life's questions were answered.

This song is one of my favourites from Rise Against, and I just checked the "American Beauty" (I've never bothered what kind of girls are screaming in the beginning of the song) and that movie just blew my mind.. Really really awesome one.. And now the song has deeper colours itself..

5 people never left. =) I love this song. It sorta reminds me of my friend. She's been living with her asshole dad for as long as anyone can remember (she's 17 now) but her mom is awesome. The court doesn't want her to live with her mom (as her parents are divorced), but she wants to. This song reminds me of the day she said "fuck it" and ran to her mom's. Now she's living with her and this is the happiest anyone has seen her in a long time. =)
